About Us
Located off Esmonde Street, Gorey, County Wexford, Gorey Tennis Club has four floodlit, astro-turf courts. We have a modern clubhouse and parking facilities for members. Tennis is a great, fun sport suitable for people of all ages and fitness levels.
Gorey Tennis Club is a very active and social club with many regular events on throughout the year for Junior and Senior Members.
If you are really a competitive type, we also run box ladders in mens and ladies singles, and also mens, ladies and mixed doubles. We cater for all levels. We run a junor mixed ladder and our best juniors can join our adult ladders when they reach a suitable standard. We run an internal club championships and an Open Championship run every year.
We run a social tennis night every Thursday night from 8-10pm with tea, coffee and buscuits and a chat after. We also run 2 social mixed double competitions every year where you can get a taste of some fun easy paced competition.
We are a member of Tennis Ireland and compete in the Leinster Leagues. Some of our more competitive members travel to compete in the many open tournaments held throughout leinster and Ireland with very positive results.
